Beta Program Information
Why should I sign up?
You should sign up if you are excited (or curious) about the Concord product and want to use the new version before it is completed. Being a beta tester allows you to use the program, give us feedback, and discover various quirks and issues with it. And, best of all, being a beta tester is free. Come help us improve Concord!
What is a beta?
A beta is the name for an early, unfinished version of a software program or application. Participants use the program and provide feedback on their experience regarding any bugs or glitches, as well as share suggestions for improvement. Beta testers contribute significantly to the overall strength, robustness, and clarity of the application. The beta testing period is also where various ideas may be tried by the software team before settling on a final way of doing things. Many betas last indefinitely until a saleable product is ready.
How do I sign up for the beta program?
It’s easy. Click on the “Login / Sign-up” button at the top of the page and fill out a short form. You’ll then be sent an email that will direct you as to how to complete your registration.
What’s my role in the beta?
Use the program as you would normally — collect citations, build readings, listen to hymn tunes, read extended passages. As you work, share with us the aspects of the program you like and the areas needing improvement. Also note any bugs (or problems) you experience while using the program. The more you comment, the more improvements we can make to Concord for you and others.
